Terms of Service
Effective date: April 15, 2026
ArthIQ Labs LLC · support@kundalimcp.com
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and ArthIQ Labs LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (“ArthIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of the KundaliMCP platform, API, developer portal, and all associated services accessible at kundalimcp.com (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing the Service, registering for an account, obtaining an API key, or making any API call, you affirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- You have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or, if applicable, the organization you represent.
- Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
If you do not meet these requirements or do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the Service. Use of an API key prefixed with sutra_ constitutes binding acceptance of these Terms as of the date of first use.
2. Service Description
KundaliMCP is a B2B computational platform that exposes Vedic astrology (Jyotish) computation capabilities via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service is designed for AI agent builders, application developers, and technology companies integrating Jyotish computation into their products.
The platform provides 13 MCP tools covering chart computation, planetary analysis, yoga detection, dasha timing, transit analysis, ashtakavarga, kundali matching, affliction analysis, remedial recommendations, natal assessment, and narrative generation. All computations are stateless: birth coordinates and timestamps are accepted as abstract mathematical inputs, processed in-memory, and results are returned — no data is retained after the response.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis across four tiers — Eval (free), Standard, High Traffic, and Custom — as described at kundalimcp.com/pricing. Tier-specific capabilities, rate limits, and concurrency allowances are as published at the time of subscription.
3. Astrological Disclaimer
Astrological computations produced by the Service are mathematical transformations of astronomical data only. They do not constitute financial, medical, legal, relationship, career, or spiritual advice.
KundaliMCP produces deterministic outputs derived from celestial mechanics and classical Jyotish interpretive rules. The Service makes no claim that astrological interpretations predict future events, diagnose conditions, or provide guidance suitable for consequential life decisions. No output of the Service should be presented to end users as a substitute for professional financial, medical, legal, or psychological counsel.
By using the Service, you acknowledge this limitation and accept sole responsibility for how you present, contextualize, and communicate astrological outputs to your users. You agree to include appropriate disclaimers in any consumer-facing application that surfaces computations derived from this Service.
4. API Usage & Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service API is subject to the following requirements:
- Rate limits. You must not exceed the rate limits and concurrency allowances applicable to your subscription tier. Sustained traffic above published limits may result in request throttling, temporary suspension, or tier enforcement without notice.
- API key management. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your
sutra_-prefixed API keys. You must not share keys publicly, embed them in client-side code without appropriate protections, or transfer them to third parties. You must notify ArthIQ immediately at support@kundalimcp.com if you suspect unauthorized key use. - No scraping or bulk extraction. You may not use automated tools to systematically extract, mirror, or archive Service outputs in volumes exceeding your subscription tier’s monthly call allowance, or in ways designed to circumvent billing.
- No reverse engineering. You may not attempt to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or derive source code, algorithms, model weights, or computation logic from Service outputs or the API surface. Probing API behavior to reconstruct internal computation methodology is prohibited.
- No resale without license. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw API access as a standalone service without a separate written reseller agreement with ArthIQ. Integrating API output into your own product for end users is permitted within the scope of your subscription.
- Lawful use only. You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to harm or defraud others, or in any manner that violates applicable law. Use of the Service to make astrological claims in regulated contexts (healthcare, financial advice, legal advice) without required disclosures and licenses is strictly prohibited.
5. Intellectual Property
ArthIQ Labs LLC retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the computation engine, all algorithms, source code, output schema formats, documentation, UI components, brand assets, and underlying knowledge graphs. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership interest to you.
You retain full ownership of any birth data, application logic, or input parameters you supply to the Service. You retain the right to use API output — including planetary positions, yoga analyses, dasha schedules, and interpretation text — in your applications, subject to the attribution requirements in Section 16.
ArthIQ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely as permitted by these Terms and your active subscription tier.
6. Accuracy Disclaimer
KundaliMCP targets sub-arcsecond precision for planetary position computation using a clean-room astronomical engine. The Service is validated against reference data sets spanning historical and contemporary ephemeris records. However, ArthIQ makes no guarantee that computational outputs are error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
The Service is explicitly prohibited for use in:
- Aerospace navigation or flight planning systems
- Maritime or terrestrial navigation systems
- Safety-critical control systems of any kind
- Any application where computational error could result in physical harm, property damage, or loss of life
Astrological computation is not equivalent to precision astronomical navigation. The Service is designed for Jyotish interpretation applications, not for precise positional astronomy in mission-critical contexts.
7. Privacy by Design
The KundaliMCP computation engine is architected to be PII-blind. Birth coordinates and timestamps enter the computation pipeline as abstract mathematical inputs. No names, human-readable birth dates, place names, email addresses, or device identifiers are accepted, logged, or retained by the computation engine.
The responsibility for stripping personally identifiable information from API inputs before transmission rests entirely with the API caller. ArthIQ does not process personal data as part of the computation path.
For full details on data handling, third-party processors, regulatory compliance, and your rights, refer to the KundaliMCP Privacy Policy at kundalimcp.com/privacy.
8. Pricing & Billing
- Payment processor. All billing is processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize ArthIQ to charge your payment method on a recurring basis through Stripe’s infrastructure.
- Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. It is your responsibility to manage subscription cancellation through the developer portal.
- Price changes.ArthIQ reserves the right to modify subscription pricing. Material price changes will be communicated with a minimum of 30 days’ notice via the email address on your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Overage charges. Standard and High Traffic tier subscribers who exceed their monthly call allowance are subject to per-call overage charges as published at kundalimcp.com/pricing. Overages are calculated at the end of each billing cycle and charged to the payment method on file.
- Currency. All prices are denominated in United States Dollars (USD).
- Taxes. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, levies, and duties arising from your use of the Service. ArthIQ will collect taxes where legally required.
- Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. ArthIQ may issue discretionary credits in cases of documented Service outages materially impacting service delivery.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ArthIQ’s aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service — whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — shall not exceed the greater of: (a) one hundred United States dollars ($100 USD), or (b) the total fees paid by you to ArthIQ in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall ArthIQ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, loss of business opportunity, or reputational harm, even if ArthIQ has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought and regardless of whether the limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ArthIQ Labs LLC and its members, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
- Your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms
- Astrological claims, predictions, or advice you or your application makes to end users using outputs of the Service
- Harm to your downstream users resulting from your use or presentation of Service outputs
- Your failure to comply with applicable tax, regulatory, or licensing requirements in your jurisdiction
- Any third-party claims arising from your application’s use of the Service
11. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ARTHIQ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ARTHIQ DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. ARTHIQ DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF COMPUTATIONAL OUTPUTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. To the extent that any dispute is not subject to mandatory arbitration under Section 13, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
13. Mandatory Arbitration
Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court (see Section 15), any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service — including questions about the existence, validity, or termination of these Terms — shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The seat of arbitration shall be Cook County, Illinois. Proceedings may be conducted in person, by telephone, or by written submission at the arbitrator’s discretion. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Each party shall bear its own arbitration costs and fees, except that the arbitrator may award costs and fees to the prevailing party as permitted under applicable law. Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
14. Jury Trial Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND ARTHIQ EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY ACTION, PROCEEDING, OR COUNTERCLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE.
15. Class Action Waiver
All claims and disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims from more than one person or entity and may not preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
This Section does not apply to claims brought in small claims court, provided the claim remains in small claims court and is not removed or transferred.
16. Vedākṣha Attribution Requirement
Any application, product, or service that surfaces computations derived from the KundaliMCP API to end users must display the following attribution in a reasonably prominent location within the application interface:
Powered by Vedākṣha
This attribution may be accompanied by a link to the Vedaksha project. The attribution must be legible and must not be obscured, hidden, or presented in a manner designed to avoid user visibility. Failure to display the required attribution is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension of API access without refund.
17. Modification of Terms
ArthIQ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be signaled by updating the effective date displayed at the top of this page. For material changes that substantively reduce your rights or increase your obligations, ArthIQ will provide notice via the email address on your account at least 14 days prior to the effective date.
Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any modification constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must cease using the Service before the effective date.
18. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by ceasing all use of the Service and cancelling your subscription through the developer portal. ArthIQ may terminate or suspend your account and API access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms
- Conduct that ArthIQ determines, in its sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties
- Non-payment of subscription fees after reasonable notice
- Fraudulent use of the Service or API keys
Upon termination, your license to use the Service terminates immediately. The following Sections survive termination: Section 5 (Intellectual Property), Section 9 (Limitation of Liability), Section 10 (Indemnification), Section 13 (Mandatory Arbitration), Section 14 (Jury Trial Waiver), and Section 15 (Class Action Waiver).
19. Miscellaneous
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental agreements or order forms signed by both parties, constitute the entire agreement between you and ArthIQ with respect to the Service and supersede all prior representations, negotiations, and agreements.
- No waiver.ArthIQ’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of ArthIQ to be effective.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without ArthIQ’s prior written consent. ArthIQ may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of its assets without your consent.
- Force majeure. ArthIQ is not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet infrastructure failures.
